Isagenix Announces Nutritional Improvement to IsaLean Shakes and Soups
IsaLean Shakes and Soups are now healthier than ever.
Chandler, Ariz. - Sept. 4, 2006 - Isagenix Founder and Formulator John Anderson announced Monday, Aug. 21 at the annual Isagenix Celebration in Las Vegas that he reformulated Isagenix IsaLean Shakes and Soups to contain nearly 30 percent more protein, and more vitamins and minerals. The IsaLean Shakes also include more than twice the fiber they did before. Anderson said the formulas were improved using new technologies available to Isagenix.
The reformulated IsaLean Shakes and Soups will come with Isagenix's new brand labeling. Also, the scoop size is larger for the shakes-to accommodate the extra protein and fiber-although the amount of servings in each container has not changed.
The company expects the changes to increase benefits to consumers. "We've made the new shakes and soups healthier and have increased their value," said Anderson. "What that means is you're going to get more of Isagenix's high-quality whey protein per serving along with more nutrition. They create results, and they taste phenomenal."
According to Isagenix President and CEO Jim Coover, the IsaLean products are designed to provide the highest-quality nutrition possible in the fewest calories, with a balanced amount of protein, fat and carbohydrates (including fiber). The formulas are low in lactose and free of trans fats and gluten. The new formulas no longer include soy oil or barley malt.
"Thousands of people have seen great benefits by using these products, and now they just got better," said Coover.
IsaLean products play an integral role as meal-replacements in the Isagenix programs. Isagenix programs require individuals to replace one or two meals per day with IsaLean Shakes, Soups and/or Bars to lower calories while increasing nutrition-thus helping people become leaner and healthier.
Coover also mentioned that all of the IsaLean products are child-friendly, which is welcome information for Associates since IsaKids Super Shake will soon be discontinued.
